These seven images are of my left sinus tissue and Nasalis Muscle. They all show a significant thinning of the tissue or nasalis muscle around my left sinus, where I have pain. I have raised this question with ENT and Oral Maxillofacial consultants, but they say that it ‘is just the angle of the scan.’
The first image is from a CT Bone scan done in Scotland in July 2021. The second image is from an MRI Neck scan done in England, in July 2022, and the other five images are from a CT Neck scan done in Scotland in July, 2021.
If the thinning of my left sinus tissue is because of the ‘angle of the scan,’ it seems a huge coincidence that all seven images, taken from different scan machines, from different ends of the country and done at different times, show this apparent wasting away of the left sinus tissue and Nasalis Muscle on the affected side, which never shows on the right side.
Is it possible that this potential infection has eaten away at my sinus tissue?
